Caritas conference was started in 5-10-2014. From the very inception of conference it is strictly trying to adhere to the very basic principle of St.Vincent de paul society. “but when you give to the needy,do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing” (Mathew 6:3)

“എന്‍റെ ഈ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ സഹോദരന്മാരില്‍ ഒരുത്തനു നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്തടത്തോളം എല്ലാം എനിക്കു ചെയ്തു എന്നു ഞാന്‍ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു”(മത്തായി 25:40)

‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’(Matthew 25:40)

The conference is able to maintain it’s working standard by achieving A+ grade in the Kottayam CC through out its inception. The working members of the conference gather everyweek. The main source of working capital is from the secret collection from the working members apart from the contribution of regular helping members and other occational benefactors of the conference. Our other areas of social involvements are taking up special projects like raising fund for poor sick and destitutes, rehabilitation/repairing of poor peoples house,giving financial assistance to poor girl’s marriages etc. We also regularly visit old people’s homes in our locality as well as other charitable institutions for the poor and destitutes. We also conduct classes for the parishioners to invoke the vincentian spirit among them.
